Canada Agriculture and Food Museum launches cheesy programming - For the Love of Cheese

OTTAWA, Wednesday, November 9, 2016 — It’s sharp, it’s creamy, it’s old, it’s blue — discover all the reasons to love cheese at the Canada Agriculture and Food Museum’s latest food series, For the Love of Cheese! During the month of November, join in daily demonstrations and weekend activities showcasing the culinary diversity of everyone’s favourite food — cheese!

Cheesy Tuesdays is a series of fun evening workshops celebrating artisan cheese and all things local. In addition to learning from local wine and cheese sommeliers, guests can stock up for the holidays at the cheese boutique, join Ottawa’s largest raclette and fondue rave, and enjoy food pairings with local wine, beer, and cider. All activities are presented in partnership with Savvy Company.

Tuesday, November 15: Wine-and-Cheese with a TWIST (Hosted by Savvy Company)
7 p.m. – 9 p.m.

Tickets: $45 per person, $80 per couple — each person receives a bottle of wine, a wine-tasting glass, and a cheese sample to take home

Tuesday, November 22: Holiday Cheese Boutique (Hosted by Savvy Company)
7 p.m. – 9 p.m.

Tickets: $20 per person — ticket includes a cooler tote, complimentary glass of wine, and a wine-tasting glass

Tuesday, November 29: Raclette and Fondue Farm Rave (Hosted by Savvy Company)
7 p.m. – 10 p.m.

Tickets: $45 per person, $80 per couple — ticket includes raclette and fondue tasting, charcuterie, and dessert
