“Baconpalooza is a celebration of all things bacon! Picture an outdoor festival with bacon, beer, and music bands. Bacon is a topic that resonates with a lot of people,” said William Pace, Executive Director of the Foundation. “To have a festival all about bacon in the setting of a working farm and national historic site just makes sense!”

The first of its kind at the Museum, this bacon festival features food trucks, beer and cocktail tents, and cooking demonstrations by celebrity chefs Lynn Crawford and Lora Kirk, as well as local chefs Michael Blackie (NeXT), Mike McKenzie (Seed to Sausage), and a live musical performance by Juno winners MonkeyJunk.

The Foundation thanks Bell Media, The Clocktower Brew Pub, the Ottawa Marriott Hotel, The Fireplace Center and Patio Shop, and Seed to Sausage for sponsoring this event. Proceeds from Baconpalooza support the Museum’s Foundation.
