Museum Teams with Nestlé Canada to Celebrate International Chefs Day!

October 20, 2016, was International Chefs Day and the theme was “Art on a Plate.” As part of its Healthy Kids Global Program, Nestlé offered a hands-on workshop at the Museum teaching students in grades 2 and 3 how to make kid-friendly recipes, including a smoothie and a dip for veggies.

Nestlé is the title sponsor of the Museum’s five-year Food Literacy Initiative, and it has supported a range of food literacy programs including the development of the Healthy Kids Quest, a series of downloadable tools for parents and educators to use at home or in the classroom to encourage healthy living and healthy eating.
